miniSMU Application Quick-start Guide

Learn how to connect your device, configure measurements, and perform essential solar cell measurements

Note: The miniSMU MS01 can be powered by a USB port alone, with no additional external power source. However, in this mode, the SMU current is limited to 50mA. It is recommended to use the included 12V power adaptor to unlock the SMU's full 180mA current rating.

Installing the miniSMU Application

PC Requirements

Windows 7 or newer OS
Intel Core i3 6100 or newer CPU, or equivalent
4GB RAM or greater
At least 200MB of disk storage
Network connection for miniSMU networking capability

Installation Process

Double-click on the miniSMU App setup executable

Installation will begin automatically, indicated by an animated green box. The application will be installed to your User/AppData/Local folder.

Once the installation is complete, the miniSMU application will launch automatically
